News Walk for the Animals update... The 6th Annual “Walk for the Animals” was a furastic success! Over 100 dedicated walkers along with just as many four legged friends attended. Vendors featured local businesses that pamper our furry friends from spas and boarding to speciality snacks. Other highlights were a free obedience class and obstacle course organized and taught by Michelle Kohlhoff. “MiniPin Rescue” is a volunteer group lead by Joni Rodbaugh that works saving lives when shelters are not enough. The experience these women bring provided a wonderful opportunity to ask questions and learn more about their role as rescue orgainzation and their challenges. Again, thank you, everyone! You made a difference from a $5.00 donation to a sponsorship. By volunteering at the event or at the shelter your efforts raised these neccesary funds. You provided the care and facility for hundreds of abandoned, surrendered, unwanted or homeless in our area. Who by no fault of their own are relying on all of us for life-saving efforts! Their eyes, tails, barks and meows tell us they know we all care.       |
