The purpose of the Central Nebraska Humane Society is to promote the adoption of rescued, abandoned, abused or neglected animals into safe, lifelong homes.
As a potential adopter for the Central Nebraska Humane Society, you are opening your home to an animal that may have been abused or neglected. We strive to place our animals in a compatible home with a family that will give them a lifetime of commitment with love and proper care.
Part of adopting from CNHS, means you are aware of the responsibility that comes with committing to providing love and care for the life of the animal.
To be considered as an adopter you must:
- Be 19 years or older;
- Be able to verify home ownership or have the consent of your landlord;
- Verify any current pets within your home are up to date on vaccines and veterinary care; and
- Be able and willing to spend the time and money necessary to provide training, proper care, and medical treatment for your pet.
Central Nebraska Humane Society uses this form to help us understand your needs and expectations with any potential pets.
Completion of this application does not guarantee adoption of an animal from Central Nebraska Humane Society.
