CNHS Blog by Admin | Mar 23, 2019 | Blog On Tuesday, March 19th we got a Facebook message regarding an injured bat. It was located on school property and had been laying in the same spot for 2 days. Animal control was sent out to pick it up. When Animal control got there the bat was alive. So they put it in a coffee can and put a washcloth in there due to the bat being soaking wet. If you didn’t know bats do not fly when wet. On Wednesday, March 20th this bat was released back outside. It is the small things people do to help these animals survive. https://centralnebraskahumanesociety.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/03/video-1553136042-1.mp4
